Tasting notes
Nose of caramel, honey, vanilla and baking spice with hints of citrus peel and oak. Palate of butterscotch, toasted oak, cinnamon and dried fruit; a long, warm, balanced finish of sweet vanilla, oak and lingering spice.
How to use
Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to open up the fruit and oak; also excellent in classic cocktails like an Old Fashioned, Mint Julep or Boulevardier.
Pairs with
Roasted meats, dark chocolate, or a fine cigar.
