Lauren Langfield Cabernet Franc 2024

A delicate, fragrant Cabernet Franc from South Australian winemaker Lauren Langfield, made for the 2024 Langhorne Creek 'Project 5255', which pairs local growers with talented winemakers. It's a pretty, perfumed red: ripe cherry, violet and blackberry over juicy raspberry and cranberry, with soft tannins, a herbal edge and a hint of graphite. Gently made and aged eight months in seasoned French oak. A food-friendly charmer for roast pork, mushroom dishes, charcuterie and medium-aged cheeses.
