Usseglio LIRAC 2022

A southern Rhone red from Domaine Pierre Usseglio, made just across the river from Chateauneuf-du-Pape in the Lirac appellation. It's a Grenache-led blend with Syrah, Mourvedre and Cinsault, full of dark berry fruit, sweet spice and that warm garrigue scrubland note the region is known for. Rich but balanced, with soft tannins and a long, savoury finish - lovely with lamb, slow-cooked beef or a board of aged hard cheeses.
