From ninth-generation Domaine Pierre Luneau-Papin near Nantes, Terre de Pierre is a single-parcel Muscadet Sevre-et-Maine sur lie grown on rare decomposed serpentine (gabbro) soils at Butte de la Roche. One hundred per cent Melon de Bourgogne aged many months on lees, it is intensely mineral, saline and age-worthy. A benchmark terroir-driven Muscadet.
