SIETE LEGUAS - REPOSADO TEQUILA 50ML
Siete Leguas Reposado is a unique tequila with an intense personality, comes to life in strong flavours of cooked agave enhanced with light woody notes.
Aged in barrels for 8 months.
EYE
Colour is soft amber yellow with green and golden highlights. Crystalline clarity. Full bodied with distinct legs on the glass.
NOSE
At rest, cooked agave, fresh (raw) agave, herbal notes married with sweet fragrances and woody undertones from the barrels. When shaken, at first blush, scents of cooked and raw agave accompanied by light herbal and citrus notes infused with the fresh essence of ripe fruit, similar to the fragrances present in silver tequila. Followed by gentle vanilla, very light touches of nuts, dried fruit, raisins and prunes, sweet flowery fragrances and woody notes from the barrels, light tinges of ripe pear and banana that sustain a harmonious balance between the two levels of flavour in the glass.
PALATE
Warm, pleasant, silky smooth. Delicate and dry with a slight freshness on the tongue and subtle balancing notes of alcohol.
The flavour of cooked agave in harmony with the freshness of herbal flavors such as spearmint, mint, chamomile and citrus notes such as grapefruit and lime; paired with sweet, very light flavours coming from the barrels such as caramel, vanilla and some dried fruit. The aftertaste is persistent without losing flavor long after having tasted the tequila, making the presence of the fruit flavor and the sweet notes of wood, caramel and vanilla more marked without losing the flavor of the cooked agave.
