L'Ambre is the flagship skin-contact (orange) wine from Sven Joschke, blending old-vine Muscat à Petits Blanc with Semillon. Fruit is destemmed and wild-fermented dry on skins, aged in neutral French oak, then bottled unfined, unfiltered and with minimal sulphur. Textural, savoury and aromatic. Note: region is given as McLaren Vale per the shop's listing/tags, though Sven Joschke's fruit has historically been sourced in the Barossa Valley.

Amber-hued and aromatic with ginger, mandarin and floral Muscat lift, salty macadamia and citrus, and a chewy, textured, clean palate.

How to use

Serve lightly chilled (12-14°C) in a regular white-wine glass; benefits from a decant. Great cellar-door and cheese-board pour.

Pairs with
