A classic, full-bodied Brunello from the San Polo estate in eastern Montalcino, owned by the Allegrini family and certified organic from the 2017 vintage. Made entirely from organically farmed Sangiovese and aged around two and a half years in oak, the 2018 shows intense ruby-garnet colour with violets, red berries, coffee and tobacco. Highly rated, including 97 points from James Suckling.
