Luxardo Original Maraschino Cherries are the benchmark cocktail cherry, made from the family's own sour Marasca cherries grown in the Veneto region of Italy. The candied cherries are steeped in a thick Marasca cherry syrup (roughly 50% fruit, 50% syrup) with no thickeners or preservatives and an all-natural dark red colour. A 400g jar holds around 60 dense, chewy cherries.
