Jerzu Vermentino Di Sardegna DOC

A crisp Sardinian white from Antichi Poderi Jerzu, a long-standing co-operative on the island's rugged east coast. Made from the Vermentino grape, it pours bright straw-gold and smells of white flowers, citrus and green apple with that lovely Mediterranean herb note. The palate is fresh and savoury with lively acidity and a faint bitter-almond lift on the finish. Lovely with seafood, especially anything off the grill.
