Good Intentions - Frankie

'Frankie' is a juicy, fruit-forward Cabernet Franc from Good Intentions Wine Co, the husband-and-wife team Andrew and Louise Burchell based around Mount Gambier on South Australia's Limestone Coast. It's a lovely riff on the Loire-style Cab Franc: dark berries and wild forest fruits with savoury notes of tomato leaf and graphite, made with wild yeasts and bottled unfined and unfiltered with little to no added sulphur. A bright, drinkable natural red that loves charcuterie, roast vegetables and washed-rind cheese, and takes well to a light chill.
