This Barolo is assembled from grapes of different vineyards: Gramolere in the commune of Monforte d'Alba, Pisapola, Riva Rocca Campasso, Rocche dell’Olmo and Boscatto in the commune of Verduno.

‘Verduno. Grapes came from Rive Rocca, Rocche dell’Ormo, Boscato, Pisapola and Campasso. ruby with orange tinges. Minerally and savoury with slow-to-emerge perfumed cherry. White-pepper and old-leather hints. Succulent and with finely sculpted tannins on the palate. Pure, if still very taut and a little austere, and in need of more time.
