From the Gras family behind the celebrated Domaine Santa Duc in the southern Rhone, 'Les Plans' is a generous, great-value Vin de Pays (IGP) de Vaucluse red. A Grenache-led GSM-style blend grown around Roaix, it falls outside the appellation only because Merlot and Cabernet join the classic Rhone grapes. Soft, medium-bodied and velvety, it drinks well young and over-delivers for the price.
