ABOUT
Clase Azul Tequila is produced at one of the highest points in the state of Jalisco. Its climate and land properties offer a characteristic tequila flavour. Each of the agaves is grown for 6 to 8 years.
Organic agave requires approximately 72 hours of cooking in old masonry ovens. The baking gives the agave core a unique sweetness. The agave core is ground to extract all the juices and begin the fermentation process, induced by the proprietary yeast. After several days, the tequila is distilled two times, having a wide cut of "heads" and "tails" to ensure our tequila is of the highest quality.
However, the magic of Clase Azul is not limited to the quality of its tequila. Its beautiful ceramic decanters are moulded and decorated entirely by hand by communities of Mexican artisans. The decanter’s traditional feathered paint design, its distinctive cobalt blue colour, and the tequila’s original flavour make it an icon of the Clase Azul family and Mexican culture.
