Cellier Des Samsons Morgon 2022

A red from Morgon, one of the ten named crus of Beaujolais in eastern France, made entirely from Gamay by long-established negociant Cellier des Samsons. Morgon sits at the fuller, deeper end of Beaujolais, so expect ripe dark cherry and red berry fruit with a juicy, fleshy texture and soft, fine tannins. Lovely lightly chilled. It's a versatile food wine that suits charcuterie, roast chicken, pork and soft, washed-rind cheeses.
