Sip & Shop: blankets, live music and build-your-own platters

The last Friday before Christmas, we did the only sensible thing: pulled everyone out into the courtyard, put on some live music, and let the afternoon unfold slowly.

Sip & Shop is our kind of party. Bring a blanket. Find a patch of grass. Build your own Quince cheese platter — pick your wedges, grab some crackers, pour a glass of something cold — and settle in while the music plays and the shops stay open late.

It’s a precinct thing, really. We threw it alongside our neighbours at Cornerstone — Kind Curations, Locavore Byron, The Upside and Lost Boys Barber Studios — because the best afternoons are the ones you share. Good cheese, good wine, good people, no rush.
