TASTING NOTES
Rosé is made from the Grenache. Sourced from a dear gentleman Eugenio, who funs the family estate Vino Italia. Hand harvested, detested & left on skins for a day ,then basket pressed straight to amphora & oak. Once dry, blended & aged in a large concrete egg called Bacon. Simply racked to bottle with a kiss of a sulphur.

ABOUT
Yokel produces fun lov’n yet seriously good-looking wines from the Swan Valley, Western Australia’s oldest wine region.
Yokels mascot it the beloved Western Swamp Tortoise whom is native to Swan River. They are also the most critically endangered reptile in Australia. With every bottle sold a portion of sales is donated to help the restoration of land, the breeding program at the Perth Zoo & recently have helped with relocation.
Due to climate change research was done to find ideal micro-climate to relocate some tortoises. Setting free 70 juveniles bred at the Perth zoo into wetlands near East Augusta with bio tags, to track them & am amazing phD candidate recording their movements plus date. This has been an wonderful operation to be part & Yokel has helped fund this, so thank you.
