ABOUT
Our philosophy of agronomy focuses on creating natural, biodynamic wines with an authentic heart; this requires an approach consistent with the territory that hosts our vineyards, coupled with the strength, and the courage, to listen to Mother Nature.
Our job is to respect the characteristics of the soil and plants, acting wisely and sensibly to extract the maximum quality from each varietal of grape and each parcel of land.
By adopting the principles of biodynamic agriculture, such as green manure, permanent grass cover and biodynamic compost preparations, we cultivate grapes without using any chemicals, fully respecting the territory in which we operate. The entomofauna that populates our vineyards is an integral and fundamental part of microbiological processes and soil fertility.
ll Moralizzatore cultivates a total of three hectares of vineyards: one and a half hectares in Mason Vicentino (VI) that give us Cabaret Sauvignon and Cabaret Rosè, and one a half hectares in Fara Vicentino (VI) whose grapes produce Vespaiò and Cabernere.
Both vineyards are located in the foothills of the Alto Vicentino area. The exposure and slope of the vineyards have proven ideal for the production of quality grapes: the soil is a mixed composition, specific to each slope, though with a general presence of volcanic-basaltic rock (togo).
This soil has proven perfectly complementary and in harmony with the production of autochthonous varietals such as Vespaiola and Groppello. It also offers a highly interesting interpretation of international varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Tai Bianco, Merlot and Pinot Nero.
