ABOUT
Founded in the 18th century Chateau Liversan is situated in Saint-Sauveur in the Haut Medoc on the western border of Paulliac, close to estates such at Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste and Chateau Pontet Canet. The estate was classified as a Cru Bourgeois in 1932.
The Chateau own 51 hectares all situated in one block. On the surface the first 30 centimetres are composed of sandy-silt gravel. The subsoil is more subtle with gravelly clays, quartz fractions and some limestone fragments. Fossil-rich limestone is found throughout the subsoil.
