WHITE GATE WINE CO - PETITE SIRAH 2021
TASTING NOTES
Hand harvested from the Rifle Range subregion of the Barossa Valley, off black clay soils. A more atypical look at Barossa Valley Petite Sirah, harvested at 12.5Be and fermented 100% whole bunch. Capturing great freshness and drinkability to a variety more pointed towards bolder examples. A floral prettiness, with bright red cherries, akin to nights with a slice of pizza in hand.

We are a small batch wine producer based in the Barossa Valley, North of Adelaide. Passionate about producing youthful, expressive, terroir driven, drinkable juice.
Crafting lighter examples of typically bolder Barossa Valley varieties. Experimenting with harvest times and vineyard practices to create energetic stylistic wines. We aim for drinkability, terroir focuses, single vineyard, expressive vines.
Striving to create wines in-line with our lifestyle of living sustainable, staying healthy and having fun. We tend to two small blocks, one North of Lyndoch, one West of Nuriootpa, both of which are farmed via organic practices. We are also fortunate enough to work with some passionate growers in the region that share our values.
