TASTING NOTES
The 2022 Anim Tinderbox Pinot Noir comprises a combination of clones on a mix of scoria and sandstone from the Tinderbox Vineyard. The breathtaking Tinderbox vineyard is perched at the entrance to the d’Entrecasteaux Channel, with sweeping views across to Bruny Island and Storm Bay.
Hand harvested, fermented wild with 50% whole bunches, on skins for 19 days. Pressed, settled and racked to oak, 20% new. Minimal handling and wild malo.

ABOUT
Max and Siobhan met at the Gnadenberg Church on the Hill of Grace.
Wine, it would seem, was in their future.
They galavanted around the globe, making wine in NZ, France, Germany and Oregon.
On return to their roots in Australia, they settled in Tasmania.
Anim is a family affair, named after daughters Audrey, Niamh and Imogen Marriott.
Small in scale, huge in scope, equal parts creative outlet and dedicated pursuit.
The key theme is farming responsibility across sites they lease and oversee in southern Tassie.
The wines sell out quickly. They don’t make much.
